Brad and Caroline Cowan are the owners of Cowan Horse Adventures and come with a lifetime of riding experience. Brad was born into a ranching family in southern Arizona and has always had his own horse. Brad is a skilled roper and is a hand when it comes to working cows and handling horses. Caroline was a US Air Force brat and although rode some as a child has had constant horse ownership since 1979. Caroline’s early training was English over fences, this morphed into carriage driving and competitions. From general trails / horseback riding, to roping and working cattle, carriage rides and competitions, our horses are trained in different disciplines. We offer our guests a choice of tacking up the horses with English or Western equipment. Our horses are stabled here on our five acres and spend most of their time loafing in the turnout. We introduce new things to them from time to time, this allows for the horses to be inquisitive not scared to unknown things.
